When will my order ship?
Your in stock items will usually leave our studio in Washington state within 5-10 business days. Not including weekends or holidays. This does not include the Fragrant Soul custom oil blend service or wholesale orders which can take up to 14 days to process depending on the size of the order.
Currently shipments are sent out Monday – Friday. We are closed
Saturday,
Sunday and all major holidays as well as vacations which will be posted
on the site. If you place your order on a shipping day it will be
shipped on
the next scheduled shipping day. This is subject to change with major
holidays and at different times of the year. Any major delays will be
posted on our site. We reserve the right to adjust shipping times.
If you need your package sooner, please let us know and we can expedite your order for an additional $10.00 plus the cost of express shipping at the current rates. Please note it in the comments section of our shopping cart or email us prior to placing your order. We will adjust your totals accordingly.
If one of those days happens to fall on a Federal Holiday (post office closed) we will ship on our next scheduled shipping day. This does not include custom made to order products or wholesale orders.
Orders are downloaded once a day and then packed for shipping. We primarily use USPS (United States Postal Service) priority mail with delivery confirmation for all orders. Once we ship, your order should arrive in a few days. Expect about 2-5 days (give or take) for your order to arrive after we have shipped it.Damaged shipments
For your protection, please do not sign for merchandise until you inspect for damage. We make every effort to prevent shipping damage, however, please keep the original shipping carton and take the following important steps if there appears to be shipping damage: We at Fragrant Soul are not liable for damages that occur in transit, this is the shipping carriers responsibility. We will not be held liable for damages due to USPS. You must agree to this before placing an order with us. You may request to have your packages insured for an additional fee.
What to do if your package is damaged and you have paid for insurance:
1) Quickly contact your local Postal office for a Damage Inspection report.
2) Contact Fragrant Soul within 30 days to send you your insurance form from the USPS transaction. It is the customers responsibility to make claims/file with the Postal office and make claims in the case of damaged goods in shipping. If 30 days has passed from the time of shipping, and you have not contacted us for your insurance form we will no longer be held responsible to send you your insurance claim and you do not hold Fragrant Soul responsible for sending out such claim forms nor will you hold Fragrant Soul responsible to replace items damaged/lost via transit. Fragrant Soul only insures up to the amount your order cost for the contents (not handling or shipping). We will not be responsible for the cost of pain, suffering or stress related illness in the case of lost/damaged shipments and you agree that Fragrant Soul are not responsible in the case of injury.
The USPS policy on making damage claims is as follows:
Coverage: Postal insurance covers
(1). The value of the article(s) at the time of mailing. If lost or totally damaged. or
(2). The cost of repairs. It does not cover spoilage of perishable
items. Coverage may not exceed the limit fixed for the insurance fee
paid. Consult post master for details of insurance limits and coverage.
Filing a claim. Indemnity claims must be filed within one year from the date the article was mailed with USPS. The original mailing receipt must be presented when filing a claim. Claims for complete or partial loss of contents, damage, or alleged rifling must be filed immediately. The article, container and packaging must be presented to file a claim for damage or loss of contents. Submit packing slip to substantiate your claim.
